Event Description

On April 12 in Arlington, VA, Federal and industry IT leaders are invited to an interactive work group to explore best practices within cyber risk measurement, including the latest research, federal and commercial case studies and IT policy updates. This year's spring forum will focus on the opportunity that the MGT (Modernizing Government Technology) Act provides for organizations to prioritize delivery of secure, sustainable modernized systems. Gain valuable insight and walk away with a better understanding on how to deliver these systems conformant with policy and standards. Geared towards those with a mission to lead enterprise governance and measurement programs as well as practitioners working in business critical software, this bi-annual seminar offers pragmatic approaches to automated software measurement.

Luke McCormack

Former CIODepartment of Homeland Security

Luke McCormack is the former CIO for the Department of Homeland Security, where he oversaw continued efforts to implement information technology (IT) enhancements and strengthen IT security. Before his time with DHS, Luke served at the DOJ as Deputy Assistant Attorney General, CIO for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and held various roles for Customs and Border Protection. Prior to joining the federal government, Luke's experience includes various private sector companies including MCI and Ford Aerospace.
