Did you know that 96% of organizations consider Digital Transformation as a critical success enabler, but only around quarter of businesses are confident about their ability to execute? How are YOU doing in that regard?
Mitch Wein (Novarica) will tell you everything about your peers, and what major challenges still lie ahead for most of you. The migration and transformation of applications to move to the cloud is one of them. Deciding to move applications to the Cloud was easy, but figuring out how to start was not. Most organization started the Cloud journey but many have uncovered many surprises. The difficulty in converting applications into a PaaS/SaaS depends on how well they were designed. Often, not much is needed to redesign the application to effectively manage tenancy - because it already uses a distributed design that is easily decoupled. However, many applications are tightly coupled and monolithic, needing to be pulled apart to become efficient SaaS apps. Most companies figure this out only after starting their projects, causing them to spin out of control. Jeff Fraleigh (CAST) will tell you about products that are fundamental in alleviating those difficulties.
You will learn from the panelists Mitch & Jeff, as they discuss these challenges and how to avoid them
